Enterprise Account Executive – Strategic Retail (UKI)
Databricks is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive strategic retail growth across the United Kingdom & Ireland (UKI). You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, build executive relationships with senior retail leaders, and articulate the business value of Databricks' data and AI platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage a targeted portfolio of strategic retail accounts across UKI, leading multi-quarter, multi-million-dollar opportunities.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer business outcomes around data analytics, AI, and the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
- Engage with C-level and VP level leaders (CIO/CTO/VP Digital/Head of Data & Analytics) to communicate ROI and business value.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Sales Engineers, and Partners to craft, present, and win proposals.
- Lead contract negotiations and procurement processes; ensure successful deployment, adoption, and expansion post-sale.
- Travel to customer sites and events as required.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally selling data analytics, AI, or cloud platforms to Retail or related sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Strong executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build compelling business cases and ROI analyses; comfortable presenting to C-level executives.
- Willingness to travel within UKI and nationally/internationally as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
