Databricks is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive for core accounts in Munich, Germany to drive revenue and build strategic partnerships with large enterprises. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle from discovery to close, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help customers leverage the Databricks Lakehouse Platform to accelerate data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business within core enterprise accounts in the EMEA region, focusing on Munich and surrounding markets.
  • Develop executive-level relationships with CIO/CTO, CDO, and other key stakeholders; understand customer data, analytics, and AI priorities.
  • Lead solution selling for the Databricks Lakehouse Platform; articulate business value and ROI tied to data strategy, data engineering, and AI initiatives.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans, manage the full sales cycle, forecast accurately, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Partners, and Customer Success to align resources and drive successful deployments.
  • Negotiate terms, close complex deals, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction and renewal opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of enterprise software or data analytics sales experience with a proven track record of quota attainment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to engage at the C-level.
  • Deep understanding of data platforms, cloud technologies, and analytics use cases; knowledge of Databricks Lakehouse is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel as required; German language skills are a plus.
