Databricks is seeking an Engagement Manager for the Communications, Media & Entertainment (CME) vertical to drive value and successful outcomes for our customers leveraging the Databricks platform. This role partners with Sales, Solution Architecture, Professional Services, and Customer Success to deliver impactful data & AI initiatives for enterprise CME accounts in the United States.

About the Role

As an Engagement Manager, you will lead strategic customer engagements, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of CME-focused data & AI projects. You will define success metrics, manage scope and timelines, communicate with executives, and maximize customer value with Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engagement delivery for CME accounts, including planning, scope control, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, and Customer Success to define value realization plans.
• Develop engagement proposals and executive-level status updates for customers and stakeholders.
• Monitor milestones, budgets, and outcomes to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Identify opportunities for additional value (upsell/cross-sell) aligned with customer goals.
• Mentor team members and contribute to playbooks and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engagement management, program management, or consulting within technology, software, or data platforms.
• Proven track record delivering complex engagements for enterprise customers; familiarity with CME is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, data engineering, and analytics tools; comfort with the Databricks ecosystem.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; travel as needed.
