Overview
Databricks is seeking a Director, Enterprise to lead enterprise sales in Australia. This leadership role will drive revenue growth, establish executive relationships, and guide a high-performing regional team to deliver Databricks’ data and AI platform to enterprise customers.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute a robust enterprise sales strategy for the Australian market.
- Build and lead a regional sales team, coach and hire top performers.
- Own and manage forecast, pipeline, and quota attainment.
- Establish strategic executive-level relationships with target accounts.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Marketing, and Partners to position the Databricks platform for large-scale data analytics and AI initiatives.
- Negotiate terms and close multi-million dollar deals across industries.
- Travel within Australia as required.
Who you are
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales with a proven track record of leading teams and closing large deals.
- 5+ years in sales leadership or management roles.
- Experience selling data analytics, AI, or cloud data platforms; knowledge of Databricks platform beneficial.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
- Excellent communication and executive engagement skills; strong negotiation and collaboration.
- Ability to recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Based in Melbourne or Sydney or willing to relocate; willing to travel within Australia.
