Overview

Databricks is seeking a Director, Enterprise to lead enterprise sales in Australia. This leadership role will drive revenue growth, establish executive relationships, and guide a high-performing regional team to deliver Databricks’ data and AI platform to enterprise customers.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute a robust enterprise sales strategy for the Australian market.
  • Build and lead a regional sales team, coach and hire top performers.
  • Own and manage forecast, pipeline, and quota attainment.
  • Establish strategic executive-level relationships with target accounts.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Marketing, and Partners to position the Databricks platform for large-scale data analytics and AI initiatives.
  • Negotiate terms and close multi-million dollar deals across industries.
  • Travel within Australia as required.

Who you are

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales with a proven track record of leading teams and closing large deals.
  • 5+ years in sales leadership or management roles.
  • Experience selling data analytics, AI, or cloud data platforms; knowledge of Databricks platform beneficial.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
  • Excellent communication and executive engagement skills; strong negotiation and collaboration.
  • Ability to recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Based in Melbourne or Sydney or willing to relocate; willing to travel within Australia.
