Databricks is the data and AI company behind the Lakehouse Platform, helping data teams accelerate innovation and scale their work across the data lifecycle. We’re looking for a motivated professional to join our growing Sales organization in the Benelux region.

The Role

As a Business Development Representative (Dutch-speaking, Benelux), you will drive new business in the Benelux region by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers for the Databricks platform. This is a hands-on, quota-driven role based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

What you’ll do

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities across the Benelux region (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg).
  • Qualify inbound inquiries and conduct outbound prospecting to build a robust pipeline.
  • Schedule product demonstrations and discovery calls with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to advance opportunities and close deals.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a positive customer experience from first contact through close.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly targets while representing Databricks with professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Dutch (native or near-native) and professional proficiency in English.
  • 1-4 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
