Analyst, Finance Data and Systems

Overview

Databricks is seeking an Analyst, Finance Data and Systems to join the Finance organization in San Francisco. This role partners with finance and cross‑functional teams to manage data and systems that enable accurate reporting, forecasting, and analytics. You will own data quality, data modeling, data pipelines, and tool integrations that support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial data models and data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and IT to implement and optimize financial systems and reporting processes.
• Own data quality, governance, and security for financial data and related systems.
• Support month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting with timely and accurate analytics and dashboards.
• Create dashboards and reports using SQL and business intelligence tools to enable data-driven decisions.
• Document processes and maintain data dictionaries; participate in system migrations and vendor evaluations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, finance systems, or business intelligence.
• Strong SQL skills; Python or R experience is a plus.
• Experience with finance systems (ERP, data warehouses, BI platforms) and data governance practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
