Database Administrator (Oakland, CA - US)

📋 Description

• Manage, maintain, and optimize databases for performance, reliability, and security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot bottlenecks, capacity, and indexing issues.
• Lead data analysis with Power BI dashboards to support decisions.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations on deployments and tooling.
• Implement data security controls, encryption, auditing, and governance.
• Hybrid work with offices in Oakland, Orange, Portland, Chicago, and Boston.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years DBA experience in production environments.
• Production DB environments: reliability, security, performance.
• Expertise with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or SQL Server.
• Build dashboards with Power BI and Tableau.
• Scripting in Python and Bash for automation.
