Data Scientist II, Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Partner with engineering teams to measure and improve infrastructure health and efficiency.
• Build metrics, dashboards, and frameworks to clarify complex systems.
• Improve metric definitions, data quality, and pipelines where needed.
• Design experiments to quantify infrastructure changes on reliability and user experience.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear analyses and recommendations for engineering teams.
• Support high-priority investigations related to performance and cost.

🎯 Requirements

• Masters degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Biostatistics, or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and analytical programming; experience with messy data.
• Experience building production-ready data pipelines and measurement systems.
• Solid foundation in experimentation and measurement; design analyses and interpret results.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear analytical workstreams and recommendations.
• Strong cross-functional communication to explain findings to engineers and product teams.
