Data Scientist

📋 Description

• Partner with Product and Engineering to frame problems and define success metrics.
• Lead experiments across teams: hypotheses, metrics, power analysis, A/B tests.
• Build ML/AI capabilities for production: classification, extraction, ranking, RAG.
• Establish evaluation practices for ML/LLM features: golden datasets and monitoring.
• Coach engineers on AI usage: prompts, tool calls, guardrails, debugging workflows.
• Communicate insights and tradeoffs to stakeholders; drive decisions and measurable impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years delivering data science work shipped to production or influencing product direction
• Cross-functional collaboration and clear communication; influence without authority
• Strong Python and SQL; production-quality code (testing, reviews, docs)
• Demonstrated mentorship enabling teams to adopt best practices
• Strong applied statistics and experimentation (A/B, causal thinking)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs in product contexts (RAG, tool calling, prompts)
