Data Scientist, Algorithms, ML - Fulfillment

📋 Description

• Leverage data/analytics to improve algorithms and models powering the system.
• Partner with engineers, PMs, and partners to frame problems mathematically.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the problem.
• Construct and fit statistical, ML, or optimization models.
• Write production modeling code; collaborate with software engineers to deploy algorithms.
• Design and implement simulated and live traffic experiments.
• Analyze experimental and observational data; communicate findings; guide launches.
• Develop measurement methods to monitor product health and impacts on users and marketplace.
• Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• MS or PhD in ML, Stats, OR, CS, Math, or other quantitative fields.
• 2+ years of professional experience in a tech company.
• Proven experience building and evaluating ML models.
• Proficiency with Python in production coding environments.
• Passion for solving unstructured mathematical problems.
• End-to-end data experience: querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
• Strong communication skills; ability to collaborate to solve problems.
