Data Science Manager, Mapping

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a data science team in optimization, experiments, ML and causal inference.
• Define and drive the data science vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Provide technical guidance on real-time decision-making and resource allocation.
• Champion data-driven decisions by partnering with product, engineering, marketing, and leaders.
• Lead deep-dive analyses on large datasets to improve navigation efficiency and map accuracy.
• Ensure robust experimentation and causal inference to measure impact of features and strategies.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in ML, causal inference, optimization, or data science (real-time systems a plus).
• 2+ years of management experience leading data science teams.
• Experience launching consumer-facing products and iterating via data-driven experiments.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing (Spark, SQL) and ML frameworks.
• Strong statistics and experimental design, including A/B testing and causal inference.
