📋 Description

• Conduct literature reviews on how to integrate active learning into the current model.
• Investigate labeling approaches to improve training/evaluation datasets.
• Implement an active learning pipeline for the existing model and analyze performance.
• Explore methods to improve label quality (e.g., LLM labeling agents).
• Contribute to GSAT model improvements across data sources.
• Collaborate with the Trip Intelligence team on Airbnb's Trip product.

🎯 Requirements

• Full-time PhD students at a US university, graduating Dec 2026–Jun 2027.
• CS/CE/Data Science or related field.
• GenAI techniques in image domain knowledge.
• Ability to read and summarize papers from literature.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Interest in high-growth tech and/or hospitality sectors.
• US work authorization (CPT/OPT with 2-year STEM extension accepted).
