Data Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain data models and pipelines with AI coding tools.
• Improve agentic coding workflows to speed data modeling and testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align metric definitions.
• Enforce data quality standards with tests and lineage checks.
• Prototype semantic layer to make data accessible to analysts and AI.
• Guide AI deployment risk from internal models to customer use.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative/technical/business field or equivalent.
• 4+ years in analytics, data science, or data engineering.
• Proficiency with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) for data models.
• Translate business needs into canonical metric definitions; run workshops.
• Strong data modeling; write SQL for cloud warehouses with QA/testing.
• SQL and Python for data modeling, pipelines, API integrations (dbt, Airflow).
• Experience with semantic modeling tools (MetricFlow, Cube, LookML).
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Sigma).
