Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and scale Baseten’s internal data platform.
• Design data models, pipelines, and analytics infra.
• Work with AI inference, infra, and observability data.
• Generate insights on product, ops, and platform economics.
• Partner with stakeholders to define company-wide metrics.
• Enable data-driven decisions across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding inference metrics: latency, throughput, token usage, and model performance.
• Experience supporting B2B SaaS and/or consumption-based platforms.
• Application of forecasting and predictive modeling (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet) to business processes.
