- Maintain, calibrate, configure, monitor, test, and repair instrumentation and electrical systems
- Investigate, diagnose, correct, and document instrumentation or system malfunctions
- Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical units and assemblies
- Perform wire terminations and verify sensor health (pressure transducers, thermocouples)
- Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry; record effects on unit performance
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, specs, drawings, and manuals
🎯 Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 2+ years with instrumentation (transducers, thermocouples, valves, flow meters)
- Experience with RTDs, strain gauges, load cells, and displacement transducers
- Knowledge of Wheatstone Bridge, Ohm's Law, and DC electronics
- Oscilloscope and multimeter proficiency; soldering, crimping tools, wiring, connectors
- System-level troubleshooting; data acquisition concepts; bus architectures (PCI/PCIe, PXI/PXIe, GPIB, Serial, USB)
