Expert knowledge of copper (UTP, Cat5e/Cat6/C6a) and fiber media types
Install, provision, test, and maintain DS0 through OC12 services and equipment
Install cable runs, patch panels, cross connects per datacenter standards
Troubleshoot copper and fiber media and use cable testing equipment
Work with data center network hardware (Ethernet, Fiber Channel) and Cisco gear
Monitor security, environmental and equipment systems; maintain site documentation

🎯 Requirements

BICSI Technician Credential preferred
2-3 years’ experience in similar critical facilities
High School Diploma
Fiber optic splicing experience a plus
Functional knowledge of Inside Plant (ISP) disciplines; telecom cabling standards
Knowledge of VISIO and MS Office
