Data Center Security Officer

📋 Description

• Verify identities and enforce access for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and fire alarm systems; initiate responses as needed.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols; identify security concerns and document findings.
• Issue temporary visitor credentials; maintain logs with chain-of-custody.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, alarms, and medical emergencies per policy.
• Support shipping/receiving controls at controlled entry points per defined process.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in security, access control, or surveillance.
• Strong judgment, situational awareness, calm under pressure.
• Follow procedures with professionalism with staff, customers, visitors.
• Detail-oriented logging, incident documentation, credential control.
• Comfortable in a 24x7 environment requiring reliability.
• CPR/AED/First Aid or safety certifications preferred.
