Data Center Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee physical security infra: video, access, visitor mgmt, intrusion, intercom for GSOC.
• Develop and own system docs library: diagrams, DR/BCP, playbooks; ensure resiliency.
• Serve as main tech contact for system uplifts; escalate for internal users; access/credential issues.
• Configure and harden hardware/software for security ops; align with standards.
• Lead root-cause analysis for outages; implement corrective actions.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, licensing, and service contracts; contribute to budgeting.
• Adhere to change management; document, test, and approve system mods.
• Monitor system health; ensure integrity of hardware, servers, and peripherals.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Physical Security or related tech infra.
• Genetec Security Center expert: Directory, Archiver, Synergis; API/SDK.
• Windows Server deployment, maintenance, hardening.
• Networking (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs) and SQL databases.
• Experience integrating third-party systems with vendors.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Windows, macOS, and Google Workspace proficiency.
