Data Center Operations Technician

📋 Description

• Execute remote hands services and customer support tasks (reboots, media swaps, inspections).
• Install, test, label, and maintain copper/fiber cabling, patch panels, cross-connects per site.
• Provision and troubleshoot interconnection services within defined physical-layer scope.
• Monitor alarms and validate field conditions; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain documentation for cross-connects, connectivity paths, and capacity.
• Support rack-and-stack readiness, optic swaps, cable management, and visual checks.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience in data center ops, structured cabling, telecom, or IT infra.
• Strong knowledge of copper and fiber media, patching, and cable testing.
• Able to work precisely in live customer environments with minimal risk.
• Detail-oriented with labeling, documentation, change control, and tasks.
• Ability to recognize abnormalities and escalate with context.
• Willing to work in a 24x7 environment and shifts.
