Data Center Operations Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the data center operations in Borlänge, overseeing build-out and daily operations.
• Hire and manage a local hardware engineering team for ops, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee hardware deployment, upgrades, and decommissioning aligned with infrastructure goals.
• Monitor and enforce SLAs with data center providers and subcontractors.
• Manage incidents and tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• Proven data center operations, hardware management, or infra support; HPC or cloud preferred.
• Experience recruiting, mentoring, and scaling a technical operations team from a greenfield deployment.
• Experience managing large-scale infra projects, including build-outs, migrations, or upgrades.
• Coordinate and lead vendors, contractors, and internal teams; escalation and contractual engagement.
• Hands-on troubleshooting; able to work under aggressive timelines and in critical situations.
