Data Center Facilities Tier III Technician

📋 Description

• Coordinate maintenance with data center vendors for UPS, generators, electrical, cooling, and fire systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot data center equipment with Lightedge staff and contractors.
• Install servers and network devices into racks with cabling.
• Support new client service installations with project teams.
• Receive, document incoming shipments, and support facility tours.
• Assist design and layout of rack and cage environments with power/cabling.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum two-year technical degree or 8-10 years equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Ethernet, CAT6, fiber cabling (SM/MM).
• Experience maintaining data center infrastructure and day-to-day operations.
• Familiar with central office equipment; console into devices (Cisco/Fortinet/Brocade).
• Knowledge of generators, UPS, PDUs, transfer switches, and electrical systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
