• Collaborate with Product Managers and leadership to define analytics questions.
• Gather data from multiple sources and tell a clear product usage story.
• Establish reporting for new products/features with metrics and repeatable analyses.
• Analyze usage across GitLab Platforms to assess performance and identify improvements.
• Explore behavioral trends for the Dedicated offering to surface insights.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced SQL skills and using data to answer complex questions.
• Experience building BI visualizations and dashboards (Tableau or similar).
• Experience working with Product and Engineering on data creation and instrumentation.
• Partner with Data Analytics Engineering to shape data models for reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking; turn usage data into practical recommendations.
• Experience conducting and interpreting A/B tests to guide decisions.
