Data Analyst II – Performance Optimization Squad

📋 Description

• Design and maintain datasets and data pipelines surfacing cost and performance signals.
• Define and own metrics for efficiency, latency, and resource use.
• Proactively investigate performance data to surface optimization opportunities.
• Build dashboards and analyses to support squad and partner teams.
• Work with engineers to define guardrail metrics and validate findings.
• Translate complex infrastructure data into clear stories for all audiences.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with infrastructure, platform, or cloud cost data; Kubernetes metrics and observability.
• Strong technical analyst with distributed systems and cloud infra experience.
• Clean, efficient SQL and Python; able to model data and build lightweight pipelines.
• Self-directed: thrives hunting for problems in the data, not waiting.
• Comfortable with ambiguity in an early-stage, unstructured environment.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker or similar) to tell a story.
