Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a System Administrator who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment supporting and maintaining a cloud-native DevSecOps platform for a DoD customer. This role will serve as an onboarding specialist for platform users. The successful candidate will monitor cloud infrastructure and services, resolve system issues, manage IT performance, and administer user accounts, among other responsibilities. Our System Administrators are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by our mission-critical customers. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrator support to maintain cloud environments and support users in unclassified and classified networks
  • Managing installations, upgrades, and configuration of hardware and software Assess system performance recommend improvements
  • Supporting backup and disaster recovery planning
  • Providing on-call IT support during business hours and support after hours emergencies 
  • Ensuring platform and networks are compliant with DoD policies

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience providing administrative support within commercial cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining tools deployed to cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting user requests and troubleshooting issues.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and Agile software development.
  • Familiarity with cloud native architectures and platforms including Kubernetes.
  • Experience with linux command line and bash scripting.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an Active Secret security clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with DoD FedRAMP authorized cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud and Azure Government.
  • Development experience with scripting languages such as Python, PHP, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation process and security requirements.

This role is based out of Tampa, FL. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $80,000.00 - $140,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
