The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join DailyPay’s Accounting team. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and will require you to work across the broader organization, up to and including senior management. This is a wonderful opportunity with dynamic responsibilities for someone who seeks leadership opportunities and wants to make a difference in a fast-paced environment.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and fluctuation analyses as a part of our month-end close process

  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and Sarbanes-Oxley

  • Work with our internal and external audit teams to support the audit by reviewing and providing support in a timely manner

  • Identify, propose and drive process and efficiency improvements to month-end close process and other accounting processes

  • Work closely with Accounting Manager and Director to identify tactical and strategic department opportunities

  • Establish strong relationships both within Finance and cross-functionally

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 3+ years of Accounting experience

  • Experience with Power Query, Google query , or SQL

  • Ownership mindset with a high degree of accountability

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business/accounting/finance; advanced degree a plus

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CPA)
