At Cybereason, as a data scientist, you will harness your skills to help millions of individuals and organizations fend off malicious activity – practically defending the world from evil! Collaborate with brilliant security researchers, data scientists, and engineers to create new security capabilities for some of our key products. We are looking for a team player who is also independent, curious, and willing to share their perspective and push their ideas.
In this position, you will:- Lead end-to-end data science projects from research exploration, through Proof of Concept (POC), to production.
- Design and implement improvements for current ML-based products.
- Engage with cutting-edge Generative AI (GenAI) technology to develop innovative solutions and enhance our data science capabilities.
- Work with domain experts to help shape the right questions and use your analytical skills to answer them.
- Find new and innovative approaches to turn the huge data stream created by our platform into additional security value.
- B.Sc in a quantitative field (Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics or similar).
- M.Sc in a quantitative field (Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics or similar), preferably with a Thesis.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience working as a Researcher and Data Scientist.
- High proficiency in Python.
- Highly experienced with classic Machine Learning (ML) solutions on various tasks: regression, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI:
- Large Language Models, including proficiency in Prompt Engineering & Optimization
- LLM Fine-Tuning techniques
- RAG
- AI Agents
- Hands-on experience with AI Tools for coding such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with the Cybersecurity domain.
- Experience with Cloud ML ecosystems, like Google AI Platform, Azure, OCI
