Cyber Security Specialist

📋 Description

• Act as Cyber Security champion; drive awareness, monitoring, and training.
• Design, review, and support secure solutions with Solutions Group and Eng.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, Essential Eight, CIS, NIST; support audits.
• Lead incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability assessments.
• Provide senior technical escalation for design, ops, projects, and client support.
• Mentor engineers; contribute to pre-sales, client security strategy, risk assessment.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years enterprise cyber security experience
• Major cloud security certification (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• CISM or CRISC or similar certification desirable
• Experience with Australian government frameworks like Essential 8 and NIST
• Experience with Cisco IOS/FortiOS, routing, VPNs; Windows and Linux OS, Office 365, Azure AD, Active Directory
• VMware/Hyper-V, Veeam backups, Bash or PowerShell scripting
