Role Summary

We areseekinga hands-on,

deeply technical General Manager and Vice President of Engineeringto lead and continue building our world-class Global Innovation Center (GIC). This leader will set a high technical bar across architecture, platform engineering, and delivery execution, ensuring Cyara delivers reliable, scalable, high-qualitysolutions with speed and confidence

to the world’s most iconic and trusted global enterprises.

The ideal candidate is a senior technologist with exceptional judgment, able to engage directly in complextechnicaldecisions while alsooperatingas a strong site and organizational leader. They bring a proventrack recordof building and scaling high-performing global engineering teams and centers of excellence, while shaping culture, strengthening leadership maturity, and driving clarity and accountability across distributed environments.This individual must be an effective communicator and trusted partner to cross-functional leadersproviding direction, alignment, and confidence across teams and stakeholders. Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence

Set and uphold a high technical bar across architecture, platform engineering, and product delivery.

Engage directly in complex technical decisions, providing authoritative guidance and quick issue resolution.

Build and mature Cyara’s Global Innovation Center into a world-class engineering hub with strong technical capability and leadership depth.

Recruit, develop, andretaintop engineering talent,strengthenengineering discipline, ownership, and performance.

Establish and enforcehigh standardsin design, coding, testing, automation, observability, and deployment.

Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to accelerate innovation and platform evolution.

Ensure engineering teams deliver high-quality products on time, within budget, and aligned to customer and business needs.

Technology Strategy & Product Alignment

Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with Cyara’s long-term product and businessobjectives.

Collaborate closely with Product Management to define roadmaps, shape requirements, and ensure technical decisions support scale and performance.

Drive clarity and alignment on priorities, timelines, technical trade-offs, and dependencies across teams.

Partner with global engineering, Technical Operations, and AI/ML teams to ensure seamless end-to-end platform execution.

General Management & Site Leadership

Serve as the senior site leader for India, responsible for culture, communication, engagement, and overall site performance.

Provide clear direction and alignment across engineering and cross-functional teams, ensuring a cohesive, high-trust environment.

Inpartnershipwith HR, oversee site-level initiatives including talent development, onboarding, employee programs, and community engagement.

Uphold Cyara’s values and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance workplace.

Manage site operations, budgets, and resource allocation to support growth and operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional & Executive Leadership

Represent the engineering organization in executive forums, customer discussions, and business reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s orMaster’sdegree in Engineering, Computer Science, orrelatedfield.

20+years of experience leading large scale engineering organizations with deep technicalexpertisein architecture, distributed systems, cloudplatforms,and highavailabilitySaaS environments.

Proven success building and elevating high performing global engineering teams and centers of excellence, including strengthening leadership capability, engineeringrigor,and organizational maturity.

Demonstrated experience leading significant engineering transformation efforts such as improvements in velocity, quality, operating discipline, technicalstandards,and cross team alignment.

Ability to step into complex technical decisions andprovideclear authoritative guidance that influences senior engineers and leaders.

Strong communicationskills and leadership presence with an ability to provide clarity,alignment,and confidence across technical andnon-technicalaudiences.

A track recordof making fasthigh-qualitydecisions with imperfect information and driving disciplined measurable execution.

Experience partnering effectively with product, operations,AI,and global engineering teams within complexmulti-regionenvironments.

Strong capability in developing talent, coachingleaders,and building a culture ofaccountability,urgency,and continuous improvement.

Prior experience in a privateequity-backedorhigh-growingtechnology company is preferred.
