About the role

As a Data Engineer at Cyara, you will play a crucial role in extracting and organizing customer usage and value data, making it accessible and digestible for our Sales and Value Engineering teams. You will be responsible for optimizing database performance, ensuring data availability, and supporting critical business functions with accurate and structured data insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with MS SQL and supporting technologies to manage, optimize, and extract valuable customer data.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed environments and database-related issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain database structures to ensure efficient data extraction and reporting.
• Optimize SQL performance, conduct system tuning, and implement best practices.
• Monitor and manage data technology platforms for uptime and efficiency.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Services/Technology.
• 4+ years of experience in Python, Microsoft SQL and Sigma (experience to similar tools like PowerBI & Tableau).
• Strong SQL performance tuning and optimization skills.
• Experience in database design, development, and data extraction.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like PowerShell and Terraform.
• Experience with Data Technology Platform Monitoring.
• MS SQL Certifications.
• Prior involvement in project teams handling data-driven initiatives.
