Job Description
Mid-Market Account Executive at Customer.io (Remote, Americas). Join a leading SaaS platform for customer messaging. You will own the mid-market sales cycle, identify and qualify opportunities, and close deals while collaborating with marketing and customer success to ensure customers derive long-term value from our platform. This remote-friendly role requires strong communication, a data-driven sales approach, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in the mid-market segment.
Responsibilities
- Drive the full sales cycle for mid-market opportunities from prospecting to close.
- Develop and execute targeted outreach to key stakeholders in mid-market accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing to generate pipeline and with Customer Success to ensure successful onboarding and adoption.
- Maintain accurate forecast and pipeline data in the CRM, and hit quarterly quotas.
- Negotiate terms and close contracts while building long-term customer relationships.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to improve messaging and features for mid-market customers.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of quota attainment in the mid-market segment.
- Strong communication, discovery, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and a data-driven sales approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage a full sales cycle.
- Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
