Customer.io is seeking a Contract Customer Success Manager to join our team remotely in the Americas. In this contract role, you will help customers achieve value with our platform and ensure a smooth journey from onboarding to renewal.

About the role

As a Contract Customer Success Manager, you will own a portfolio of customers, drive adoption, and influence long-term success. This is a remote, contract position with flexibility across the Americas time zones.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary post-sales owner for a portfolio of customers; drive onboarding, activation, and adoption of Customer.io products.
  • Proactively monitor health signals, renewals, and expansion opportunities; partner with Sales, Product, and Support to resolve issues.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, capture customer feedback, and advocate for customer needs in product and roadmap discussions.
  • Provide best-practice guidance, training, and success playbooks to help customers realize value quickly.
  • Maintain accurate customer data in our CRM and collaborate across teams to reduce churn.

Who you are

  • 3+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or a related role in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills; comfortable working across multiple time zones in the Americas.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to track success metrics and tell the customer story with data.
  • Customer-centric, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
