  • Deliver hands-on DB and cloud infra support (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB) with Kubernetes.
  • Diagnose and resolve DB production issues affecting performance, backups, and connectivity.
  • Guide customers in designing scalable, reliable database architectures on DigitalOcean.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to support onboarding, migrations, and escalations.
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotations for critical issues.
  • Analyze customer architectures to identify improvements and best practices.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • 2โ€“5 years in technical support, DevOps, cloud engineering, or similar.
  • Hands-on with DBs: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Clickhouse; Kafka familiarity.
  • Strong Linux, networking, and cloud infra fundamentals.
  • DB fundamentals: backups, replication, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Strong troubleshooting across app, DB, and infra layers.
  • Customer-first mindset with ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Excellent communication; able to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud; multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
