📋 Description

  • Act as SME for one or two Kong products.
  • Understand product architecture, deployment models, data flows, controls.
  • Handle customer assurance requests: security questionnaires and inquiries.
  • Attend calls to explain Kong’s security posture and data handling.
  • Coordinate with other SMEs for multi-product responses.
  • Ensure responses are accurate and aligned with messaging.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, CS, or related.
  • 8+ years in Customer Assurance, Security, GRC, or Trust roles.
  • SME experience in SaaS/cloud environments.
  • Hands-on with customer security questionnaires and audits.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II.
  • Experience with API platforms, cloud infrastructure, or dev-focused products.
