Title: Retail Planner 

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Full- Time, Exempt

About the Role: The Retail Planner is responsible for overseeing and executing planning activities that support the strategic goals of the business unit. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. The Retail Planner will collaborate across departments to ensure efficient operations and optimal resource utilization.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop and manage production and supply chain plans to meet customer demand and business objectives.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.
  • Monitor and adjust plans based on changes in demand, supply disruptions, or other variables.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or inventory management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Proven experience in planning, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Illinois Hiring Range

$68,000 - $82,000 USD
