Role
Cribl is seeking a Sales Engineer, Seattle (Strategic) to join its global sales team. This remote-friendly role supports strategic customers with technical engagement, assists the Account Executives in delivering product demonstrations, and designs solutions using Cribl's data observability platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver technical product demonstrations and proof-of-concept experiments for strategic customers.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable data pipelines and deployment architectures using Cribl software.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure customer success and deal closure.
- Contribute to RFP responses, solution design, and technical scoping for complex deployments.
- Stay current on Cribl product capabilities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or related technical role in a data/observability context.
- Strong knowledge of data pipelines, logging, metrics, and observability concepts; experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, SQL) and demo/pov development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Some travel may be required.
