Role overview

As a Software Engineer, Knowledge Assist, you will join our Engineering team in Bucharest or Cluj to build and scale Knowledge Assist features that power Cresta's AI-enabled workflows. This full-time, on-site role offers an opportunity to contribute to a product used by cross-functional teams worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Knowledge Assist components and services.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrations with databases and cloud services.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and platform teams to translate requirements into scalable software.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and security; improve user experience.
• Document features and maintain clean, well-tested codebase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with REST APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and knowledge-management concepts is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Bucharest or Cluj, Romania – on-site.
