Cresta is seeking a Conversational AI Designer for a remote role based in Canada. This position focuses on crafting engaging and natural interactions for AI-powered customer experiences.

Role Overview

As a Conversational AI Designer, you will design dialog flows, prompts, and user journeys for chatbots and voice assistants in alignment with product goals and user research.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype conversational interfaces and dialogue flows.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to translate requirements into actionable interaction designs.
• Create conversation maps, intents, entities, and micro-dialogues; iterate using analytics and user feedback.
• Review language quality, tone, and accessibility; ensure consistency across channels.
• Contribute to design systems and best practices for conversational UI.

Requirements

• Experience with designing conversational interfaces or AI-powered interactions.
• Familiarity with NLP concepts, dialogue design, and user research.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a remote environment.
• Ability to work remotely from within Canada and align with team time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with chatbot frameworks (e.g., Dialogflow, Rasa) or similar.
• Understanding of analytics to measure success of conversational experiences.
