Cresta is seeking a Conversational AI Designer to design and optimize conversational experiences for customer interactions using AI-driven chat and voice interfaces. This role collaborates with product, research, and engineering teams to translate business goals into intuitive user conversations.
Role Overview
- Design and iterate on natural language interactions for chatbots and voice assistants across platforms.
- Collaborate with product, research, and engineering to define intents, entities, dialogue flows, prompts, and error handling.
- Develop conversation maps, dialogue scripts, prototypes, and documentation to guide implementation.
- Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
- Contribute to design systems and style guides for conversational UX.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of conversational experiences from discovery through deployment.
- Partner with data scientists and engineers to improve model-led interactions.
- Conduct usability tests and translate findings into actionable design changes.
Requirements
- Experience in conversational UX, NLP, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business goals into clear design specifications.
- Portfolio or samples demonstrating bot/dialogue design and user-centered thinking.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Illustrator) and prototyping.
- Experience with customer support automation or enterprise chat platforms.
