Credit Underwriter - Floorplan Financing

📋 Description

• Review incoming applications and ensure all required documents are complete.
• Analyze bank statements, credit reports, and supporting docs to assess risk.
• Follow up on missing items and move deals through the process.
• Prepare files, summarize key details, and apply company guidelines.
• Communicate approvals and outline next steps, including stipulations.
• Maintain organized, accurate deal files during underwriting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in auto or floorplan financing.
• Proficiency in reading credit reports (e.g., Experian) and financial statements.
• Strong understanding of UCC filings, PMSIs, and other secured lending practices.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and dealership operations is a plus.
• Experience with DecisionLogic or similar bank verification tools preferred.
