Creative Technical Director, Generative AI

📋 Description

• Own technical delivery end-to-end from estimates to final delivery.
• Define AI-driven approaches for image/video generation and automation pipelines.
• Translate briefs into concrete technical plans; confirm scope/assets/datasets.
• Lead with Solution Leads and Creative Directors to align scope and timelines.
• Assemble and lead the tech team: Creative Technologists, ML engineers, backend developers.
• Guide AI pipelines and QA; communicate risks and trade-offs to clients.

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years in a Technical Director, Technical Lead, or similar role.
• 5+ years hands-on in Creative Tech, Software Dev, 3D/VFX, or real-time engines.
• Solid ML fundamentals: architectures, training vs inference, and fine-tuning.
• Hands-on experience with AI/generative pipelines beyond text-to-image.
• Ability to translate high-level ideas into concrete technical plans.
• Strong communication and leadership in ambiguous environments; push back on unrealistic expectations.
