We're Creative Fabrica, a fast-scaling tech start-up from Amsterdam.

Our mission

Enable creativity by giving access to everything related to the creative process: inspiration, learning, creating, and sharing. The ‘Creative Inspiration Flywheel’This creates a self-sustaining community that lives within the Creative Fabrica ecosystem.

About the platform

We launched in 2016 as a marketplace for fonts with a subscription service. In the last 8 years, we have been through tremendous growth, and we're just getting started!

We have scaled to 50 million+ monthly page views, 8 million+ registrations, over 22 million listed products,and22000+ active designers.

Our focus is to create a platform for designers that enables them to offer exceptional high-quality content. We make their products searchable in unique ways. This allows our customers to speed up their workflow, allowing them to focus on what they love most: Creating.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Product Operations Specialist to support our product team. This person will act as the glue between product, engineering and process: writing clear and concise feature specs (for smaller/bite-sized work), maintaining ticket discipline (labels, backlog hygiene, workflows), and managing our R&D / WBSO submission process. You’ll not own full product strategy, but you will make sure the engine runs smoothly and stuff doesn’t fall through the cracks.

What you will do:

  • Write clear, basic feature specifications: what’s being built, who’s doing it, acceptance criteria, dependencies.
  • Maintain and improve product tooling and ticket workflows: triage tickets, apply correct labels, ensure backlog is healthy and prioritised.
  • Coordinate the product backlog: ensure tickets are groomed, labelled, linked to epics, ready for dev.
  • Support the product team by tracking/updating status, creating reports, and helping PMs stay on track.
  • Manage submission of WBSO / R&D-related documentation (or other relevant compliance/funding process): gather data, write up required forms, coordinate with finance/legal.
  • Define and document standard processes/templates for specs, ticketing, hand-offs.
  • Act as a process improvement champion: identify friction in how product gets done, propose and implement solutions.
  • Potentially liaise with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, operations, finance) to ensure alignment and smooth hand-off.

What you will need to have:

Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, engineering, product management, or similar.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a product, business operations, project coordination or product-ops role inside a product company.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong written communication skills (you’ll produce specs, forms, documentation).
  • Comfortable in a ticketing-tool environment (we work with Jira, but experience in similar tools is great too) and familiar with agile workflows.
  • Self-starter who can spot process issues and help drive them.
  • Fluent in English

Soft Skills

  • Prioritisation: You effectively balance business needs with team well-being.
  • Communication: You communicate clearly, giving and receiving feedback constructively.
  • Good organisational and process skills: you’ll be juggling specs, tickets, backlog, submission deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset: you’ll work with product managers, engineers, other stakeholders.

It would be great if you could also bring:

  • Exposure to R&D/funding/compliance processes (WBSO or similar) or willingness to learn
