Solution Specialist - Microsoft Security

Job Overview

Crayon is seeking a Solution Specialist focused on Microsoft Security for our Paris Head Office. This client-facing role combines security expertise with sales support to design, position, and deliver Microsoft security solutions to enterprise customers. You will work with pre-sales and delivery teams to understand customer needs, demonstrate capabilities, and translate technical concepts into business value.

Role Overview

As a Solution Specialist, you will design and position Microsoft security solutions for enterprise clients, collaborating with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes. You will stay current on Microsoft security product offerings and translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value for customers in the Paris area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand security requirements and risk posture
• Design and present Microsoft security architectures using Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, and related Azure security services
• Produce compelling proposals, proofs-of-concept, and product demonstrations
• Collaborate with sales engineers, account teams, and delivery professionals to advance opportunities
• Respond to RFPs and support deal closure with value-driven messaging
• Stay updated on Microsoft security product roadmap and industry trends
• Provide smooth handover to delivery teams and support ongoing customer success

Requirements

• 3+ years in information security, cloud security, or pre-sales
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security solutions (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Azure Defender, Defender for Office 365)
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, identity and access management, and security governance
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed and collaborate with cross-functional teams
