Cloud Architect AWS

Overview

Crayon is seeking a Cloud Architect AWS to design, implement and optimize scalable cloud architectures on AWS. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver secure, cost-efficient and robust cloud solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and document enterprise-grade AWS architectures (VPCs, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, etc.).
• Lead migration and modernization initiatives, define reference architectures and best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure reliability, security and performance.
• Optimize cloud costs and implement monitoring, automation, and governance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS-based cloud architectures for large-scale systems.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of security best practices and cost optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect – Professional) is a plus.
