Test Engineer II at Coursera
Coursera is seeking a Test Engineer II to join our engineering team in India. In this role you will contribute to ensuring the quality of Coursera's platform by designing and executing tests, developing automated test suites, and collaborating with product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts
- Create and maintain test plans and test cases
- Execute manual and automated tests; report and track defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality
- Help optimize test processes and CI/CD integration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of software testing or SDET experience
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Knowledge of CI/CD, version control (Git), and debugging
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with API testing, performance testing, or security testing
- Exposure to cloud services and modern programming languages
