Overview
Coursera is seeking an On-Platform Marketing Manager to design and run marketing programs on Coursera's own platform, driving user acquisition, activation, and retention. This role partners with product, analytics, growth, and content teams to create and optimize on-platform experiences that move learners through the funnel.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-platform marketing programs across channels (email, in-app messaging, in-browser banners, landing pages) to increase signups, engagement, and revenue.
- Develop messaging, segmentation, and experiments to improve funnel metrics and lifecycle campaigns.
- Collaborate with product, growth, content, and design teams to create compelling experiments and campaigns.
- Define success metrics, monitor performance, run A/B tests, and iterate based on data.
- Manage budget, timelines, and vendor relationships; coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with platform guidelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing, growth marketing, or product marketing experience, ideally in online education or SaaS.
- Strong data-driven mindset with experience in experimentation and analytics (A/B testing, funnel analysis).
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel/Amplitude, Tableau) and SQL.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo) and in-app messaging tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
