Overview
Coursera is seeking a Manager, Product Management – Learning Experience to lead the product strategy and execution for Coursera's learning experience platform. You will collaborate with design, engineering, data science, and content teams to create learner-centric experiences that improve engagement and outcomes.
The Role
- Define product strategy and roadmap for the Learning Experience across Coursera's catalog.
- Lead discovery, write product requirements, and prioritize features based on learner needs and business goals.
- Mentor and grow a team of product managers, aligning cross-functional stakeholders around a shared vision.
- Partner with design, engineering, data science, content, and analytics to deliver impactful features.
- Establish success metrics, run experiments (A/B tests, usability studies), and measure impact with analytics.
- Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and high-quality education experiences.
- Communicate progress to executives and cross-functional teams, translating user insights into actionable product plans.
What You'll Do
- Own the learning experience product roadmap and prioritize initiatives that improve learner outcomes and engagement.
- Collaborate with content partners to optimize course interactions and learning paths.
- Define and track key metrics, run experiments, and interpret data to inform decisions.
- Champion user research, interviews, and feedback loops to inform product direction.
- Coach and develop junior PMs and ensure timely delivery against milestones.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record in Learning Experience or EdTech is preferred.
- Strong leadership and ability to influence with/data-driven decision making.
- Experience partnering with design, engineering, data science, and content teams.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and roadmapping; experience with experimentation and analytics.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Technical literacy in data analysis (e.g., SQL) and analytics tools is a plus.
