• Shape Lyft’s autonomous vehicle deployment and marketplace integration.
• Advise cross-functional teams on regulatory, privacy, and safety issues.
• Provide full-lifecycle product legal guidance translating terms into frameworks.
• Lead long-term initiatives to advance the AV roadmap and public programs.
• Develop comprehensive legal strategies balancing innovation with risk.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in top-tier law firm or in-house focused on product counseling or commercial transactions.
• J.D. from an accredited law school; active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Experience advising on product development, emerging tech, or AV initiatives at a tech company.
• Ability to craft practical legal solutions where rules are unclear.
• Proven track record handling high-stakes, complex commercial negotiations.
• Excellent problem-solving and independent, business-minded advice to product/engineer leads.
