📋 Description

• Lead responses to employment-related disputes and manage multi-state legal risk.
• Partner with HQ and Care teams to handle pre-litigation and litigation matters.
• Provide practical employment/compliance advice and scalable risk processes.
• Influence risk strategies across care operations and technology.
• Remote role; occasional after-hours response may be required.
• Represent the company in administrative proceedings as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. with active bar membership; 4–6 years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong employment law and litigation experience, including admin disputes.
• Deep knowledge of California wage & hour law and multi-state compliance.
• Experience drafting employment documents, motions, and litigation strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate complex concepts to business.
• Practical, solutions-oriented mindset; collaborates with the business.
