Counsel, Litigation & Employment (Labor)

📋 Description

• Hands-on leadership for labor and employment matters in courts and agencies.
• Manage high-volume matters including grievances, unfair practices, and filings.
• Collaborate with Legal and outside counsel to shape labor strategy.
• Oversee outside counsel—guidance, staffing, budgeting, and strategy.
• Handle worker classification matters from pre-litigation to appeals.
• Provide cross-functional legal support with Finance, Product, Safety, and Policy.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years labor and employment litigation experience.
• J.D. from a top-tier law school.
• Bar admission in California or New York.
• In-house or gig-economy advisory experience preferred.
• Experience litigating diverse labor and employment matters.
• Experience negotiating/implementing collective bargaining agreements.
