Counsel, Litigation & Employment (Labor)

📋 Description

• Hands-on labor & employment litigation in courts and agencies.
• Manage high-volume labor matters: grievances, charges, arbitrations.
• Collaborate with Legal and outside counsel on labor strategy and compliance.
• Oversee outside counsel: guidance, staffing, budgeting, alignment with strategy.
• Lead worker classification matters from pre-litigation to trial strategy.
• Provide cross-functional legal advice with Finance, Product, Safety, and Policy.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years labor and employment litigation experience.
• J.D. from a top-tier law school; CA or NY bar.
• In-house or large/mid-size firm background; gig economy a plus.
• Experience litigating labor and employment matters, including complex cases.
• Experience handling grievances, unfair labor practices, agency charges.
• Experience negotiating or implementing collective bargaining agreements.
